The food was good - better than expected.
That the spa and wellness area was closed when we arrived at 6.00 pm Saturday night - sore and ready for relaxing in pool, sauna and jacuzzi! The only excuse from the hotel side was that it had been a quiet day so that "she" had been allowed to close the spa and go home early. The outdoor pool wasn't kept clean and looked more like a water resevoir than a pool.

I picked this quite expensive Hotel because of the SPA/wellness area. We arrived at 18.00 hrs only to be told that the facilities were closed all though their brochure stated that you could use it after a long day. The hotel was understaffed and we were not greeted very well eg. No info about facilities, breakfast time etc. They had a loverly terrace and the weather was really hot but we were forced to sit in the hot non air conditioned dining room if we wished to eat there. We declined. The spa facilities were still locked up the next morning. For what we paid we should get a rebate as we did not get what we expected

Breakfast, helpfulness of staff, general appearance, Dinner when supplied.
While I understand the reason, the fact that the restaurant was closed one night. Prior notice would have been appreciated as the hotel is fairly isolated.

Location and size of room.
Poor sound proofing. Standard of breakfast. Lack of room facilities. Very small sink in shower room.
